How to wash Disana wool cover?
Place wool cover in sink and gently push cover under the water. Let it soak for at least 15 minutes. See video below with blue Disana Wool Pull On. Please note that it is possible but unlikely that you will ever need to add lanolin to a wool blanket or clothing.
What is a wool soaker?
Wool soakers (also called longies, woolies, shorties and soakers) are diaper covers made from 100% wool designed to be worn over Flat, Fitted, Prefold and Contour cloth diapers. Wool soakers are typically made from Angora or Merino wool and are extremely soft, breathable, and naturally antibacterial.
How do you wash disana nappies?
Remove any solids from the nappy into the toilet and place the nappy and liner in a dry nappy bucket – no need to soak. When you have a full load, transfer to the washing machine and wash at 60 degrees with a pre-rinse or pre-wash cycle.
How do you use disana tie nappies?
Disana’s organic cotton knitted nappies are just brilliant. Basically they are a flat piece of shaped knitted fabric with ties, one size birth to potty. No pins or clips needed, simply fold in half, wrap and tie on. This is a comfortable and effective nappy for day and night use.
How do you get poop out of a wool diaper cover?
Let the woolen cover soak about 15 minutes to allow the lanolin to penetrate the wool fibers. For stool, rub small amount Lanolin Soap directly on spot. Rinse as below. You may add a small amount of your favorite hair-shampoo or gentle soap to the lanolin soap water if you would like.
Can you over Lanolize wool?
Avoid over lanolizing your wool. if your wool is gummy or sticking after it is dry, you have over-lanolized.
How many times can you reuse diaper cover?
Dries fast – If you are air-drying your diapers, covers are the way to go. Save money- Because you can reuse cloth diaper covers between changes, you can get by with less covers. We still recommend 24 inserts/diaper changes.
How do you sterilize wool diapers?
It is not recommended to use bleach in a HE washing machine.
- Fill your machine with the desired amount of cold water.
- Add the bleach.
- Add the diapers.
- Soak for 30-45 minutes.
- Rinse out bleach with a hot water wash and detergent.
- Perform a second rinse or wash if needed.
