How do I use my EBT card?
This balance will be the most you can spend with your card.
- Step 1 Take your groceries to the checkout lane.
- Step 2 Swipe your card through the Point-of-Sale(POS) terminal or hand your EBT Card to the clerk.
- Step 3 Enter your four-number Personal Identification Number (PIN) on the keypad.
- Step 4 Press the “ENTER” key.
How long can you stay on CalFresh?
In California, most households have a 12-month certification period. Some household with elderly or disabled members have a 24 month certification period. What time does the EBT office close?
The opening hours of US Postal Service offices vary wildly depending on where you live. Most locations open at 8am or 8.30am, but some close at 10am, others at 12.30pm and some branches shut at 4pm Monday to Friday. Plenty of the Post Offices are closed both weekend days, but some are open for a few hours on Saturdays only.
