Why support schools with world class characteristics?
We support schools to ensure that every pupil, regardless of their back ground, has the opportunity to develop World Class characteristics. We accredit schools whose students have successfully developed World Class characteristics with our Mark.
What is the difference between Ofsted and world class schools?
Ofsted measures what the school does to develop the students. The World Class Schools Quality Mark goes one step further and assesses whether this has worked. Schools that become part of the World Class network are exceptional in that their students are World Class wherever you put them. These schools need recognition.
How do we support schools to become world class?
We support schools to become World Class and accredit schools as World Class. We are not a conventional quality mark or assessment process. We assess the pupils, not the school, against a framework of skills, competencies and characteristics that young people need to flourish in an emerging global economy.
