Is Lake Gregory water clean?
This is an ideal lake for families. In fact I don’t think anyone else would like it but famiies with children, handicapped people or much older adults (because it is so easy to access). Very clean water on the swim beach side. On the fishing side it is clean but more plant life and rocks exist.

Why is Lake Gregory closed?
Note: Typically Lake Gregory stays open on weekends after Labor Day. This year they just closed entirely, but it might be due to the water syphoning that was utilized for the big fires we have had in the region. The Lake was really low by Labor Day.
